Title: Re: FEVERFEW Post by Bonnie_1 on May 5th, 2002, 10:32pm Hi ! I'm new here too and have also tried Feverfew but found it didn't do a damn thing for me, but if it works for you GREAT! I find most meds just work for a while and then quit, but I'm chronic so maybe that's why. I hope it keeps working for you though because compared to everything else it is cheap with no side effects. Take care Bonnie ::) |

Title: Hey terach Post by BobG on May 5th, 2002, 10:46pm Click the search button at the top of the page and type in feverfew. It should return quite a few post since it has been discussed here before. Or click this and type in feverfew. You probably won't find anything since it only mentions migraines and not CH. http://my.webmd.com/drugs |

Title: Re: FEVERFEW Post by Ueli on May 5th, 2002, 11:02pm Feverfew is well known as a long term prophylactic for (lighter cases of) migraine. Its benefits for CH are not easy to evaluate: It takes several weeks of regular intake to show any effect (at least for M.). It's difficult to decide if the feverfew helped or the cycle came to a natural end if you take it for CH. Add to this the notorious uncertainty about the concentration of the active ingredient in all 'natural' supplements. And feverfew is not free of side effect, especially watch out for interactions with other medications. Feverfew has been discussed often on CH.com. Below a list of the relevant archive pages. Use the browsers Edit/Find or Edit/search command to find the relevant threads. Feverfew tea, pills, etc Melatonin pills... made me sleep but i still got hit with the pain during the night. And depending on how many HA i got during the night, the melatonin just made me that much more groggy in the morning. |
