I know Indocin is used for CPH...but I have heard it can also work for those with CH....I have been on it since Tue. and still getting pain...but still in the mild-moderate level...so bearable at the moment.

Question is this-How many CHers have tried Indocin....for how long...before it worked...did it work completely...did it just relieve level of pain...are you eposodic...or chronic...did the pain return when stopped indocin?

I'm trying to decide how long should keep on indocin before trying something else. So far pain has not gotten worse and I think (from past experience) it might have by now. But this could change of course...I'm just wondering how long I should give this by what others have experienced. 5 days? Or just stay on it as long as pain doesn't get worse....which is fine. I can handle it at this level!

I am still needing a good abortive combo...will return to dr. tomorrow to discuss this more...maybe I'll just ask for the ox. and give it a try. I have read it can damage lungs...what is everyones experience with this? Is ox. the preferred method to try first...or should I try Imitrex and other things first...or use them all!

Sorry to have so many questions...I do appreciate any responses you all may have.

when I started indocin it kicked in almost imediatly with drastic results.
