Title: Re: Does Acupunture work Post by Fandral on Feb 28th, 2002, 8:00pm Went to a chinese doctor and was very impressed by him sticking two needles in near my nose, cleaned out my sinuses in less than 10 seconds. Arrived with CH, and left with a CH. |

Title: Re: Does Acupunture work Post by johlar on Mar 1st, 2002, 6:32pm I started accupuncture about a week ago. Have had 4 visits with no success yet. Person providing treatment says that it is cumulative and may take awhile. I've had CH for 30 years, only thing that works is Immitrex |

Title: Re: Does Acupunture work Post by don on Mar 2nd, 2002, 10:41am Your provider is right it is cumulative. My question is how long will it take to accumulate ? I can get the answer to that question for every CH med available but not for accupuncture ! |

Title: Re: Does Acupunture work Post by Ueli on Mar 2nd, 2002, 1:15pm How long does it take to accumulate? The answer is easy: Until all your money has accumulated in the wallet of the scam artist. :'( Read about the shoddy foundations of this "science" at the link below: Acupuncture, Qigong, and "Chinese Medicine" (http://www.quackwatch.com/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/acu.html) |

Title: Re: Does Acupunture work Post by BobG on Mar 2nd, 2002, 3:29pm I have to go along with Ueli on this one…and ask a question… Is the Acupuncturist also a Chiropractor? I ask because the "cumulative and may take awhile" line is straight out of the Chiroquacker handbook. "It took a long time for your spine to get bent and it'll take a long time to get it straight (or until your life-time insurance benefits expire, whichever comes first)" |
