Title: Appy Directly to the Forehead! Post by Jean on May 4th, 2008, 3:54pm Okay, this might sound crazy but my husband bought me that Head On stuff............ you know that annoying commercial. I probably wouldn't have bought it myself but he was looking for anyway to help and he saw this and picked it up for me. I found that rubbing it all over the right side of my forehead, cheek, nose and back of the neck helps with my shadows. It has a cool/hot feeling that I find soothing (kind of like Ben Gay). I am not sure how it would feel during an attack though. I prefer ice right on the top of my head and on my face during a hit. Jeannie |

Title: Re: Appy Directly to the Forehead! Post by sandie99 on May 6th, 2008, 3:59am Jean, I'm glad that the cream you have has helped you. :) My mom picked up a jar of "Headache cream" back in here. It's not the same stuff, because it's made by a small local company and its sold at fairs and events like that. According to the jar, the cream is supposed to help with headaches and migraines. I've used it with ordinary headaches twice, but not with ch. So far, the cream has not really stopped the HAs I've used it with, so we shall see. I'm allowed to apply it to the forehead and back of my head. Sanna |

Title: Re: Appy Directly to the Forehead! Post by Jean on May 6th, 2008, 9:51am Hi, I can't really say that the Head On really makes the shadows go away but it does soothe them. I don't think that it would do much for the real thing though. I agree about the commercial............. it'll give you a headache! And yes, I do have a keeper; he really tries. |

The key to beating this beast is finding your cocktail of Rx's that works for you. This also includes other remedies that would be considered outside the box of treatment possiblities. If it works for you I am happy for you. :) TomM |
