Title: 02 QUESTION
Post by kevmd on Mar 17th, 2008, 10:30am
STARTING TO THINK I DO NOT HAVE 100% O2. I THINK IT MAY BE 92%.  THE LABEL SAYS OXYGEN GRADE 2.  UN1072.  MY RECIEPT SAYS OXY IND SML (92) CO

CAN ANYONE CONFIRM WHAT I HAVE.  INTERNET SEARCH IS NOT PULLING UP WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR

In Hungary the "grade 2" oxygen is 99.5%, G3 99.95%, G4 99.995%. Medical and welders oxygen are grade 2.
UN 1072 is the United Nation number for hazardous substances (DOT number in the USA).

I have no idea wtf "IND SML (92) CO"

The following link may shed some light:

http://www-personal.umich.edu/~lpt/oxlabel.htm

UN1072 is a DOT label code for compressed gas cylinders containing oxygen as listed below:

P/N              Item                                DOT Code
15031    Oxygen                              UN1072
15031C  Oxygen - Compact Size    UN1072
16051    Oxygen Aviator Breathing UN1072
16510    Oxygen Extra Dry Grade   UN1072

Grade 2 should be the class of oxidizer.  The number "2" should be printed at the bottom of the yellow diamond shaped oxygen placard on the oxygen cylinder.

The receipt looks like short hand book keeping codes used by the company delivering your oxygen.  Call them for an explanation.

The real question...  Is oxygen therapy working to abort your cluster headache pain?

V/R, Batch

thanks guys
Batch...o2 does work mostly.  Though I have problems aborting minor attacks and shadows.  Seems to do better on a full blown attack.  Which is why I started to investigate.  Seems like I got the right stuff
