Title: Clustermasx Availability? Post by RichardN on Feb 7th, 2008, 3:21pm Does anyone know if Clustermasx is still in back-order mode? I have two, and lost one of the (balloon) face mask part. I keep the one complete mask at home, and just breath off the manifold when in the car (I wear glasses and can't use the mask anyway when driving). Would like to get it replaced tho'. Also, it's been so effective for so many of us . . . would hate to think it won't be available for others who haven't tried it yet. Someone please let me know this is a temporary shortage. Be Safe, PFDANs Richard |

Title: Re: Clustermasx Availability? Post by ski2k on Feb 7th, 2008, 4:29pm Wow, Linda.... That's an awesome link. Although I haven't needed O2 this cycle (knock on wood), I was wanting to get a clustermask just in case. Looks to me like it wouldn't be hard at all to make one myself. Thank you!!! Title: Re: Clustermasx Availability? Post by Scrooge on Feb 16th, 2008, 9:58am Okay I ordered the parts for the do it yourself mask. I was impressed with how inexpensive it all was. I appreciate the link. I will let you know how it goes! |

Title: Re: Clustermasx Availability? Post by Mr. Happy on Feb 16th, 2008, 9:11pm It's pretty well spelled out - http://www.mushys.com/O2/mymask.html (http://www.mushys.com/O2/mymask.html) Personally, I prefer a bigger bag measured in gallons... http://mushys.com/pix/dadmask2.jpg |

Title: Re: Clustermasx Availability? Post by kcopelin on Feb 16th, 2008, 10:48pm :o Richard, I'm still freaked out that you would drive while using O2-I usually pull over. Dude, be safe indeed! (And I'm not trying to be a smart butt or anything. Ask anyone here-I ain't that smart :D) PFDAN y'all, kathy |

Title: Re: Clustermasx Availability? Post by Scrooge on Feb 17th, 2008, 10:08am Okay - got the parts except for the face mask. I put together the pieces and decided to try the thing by breathing in by my mouth and exhaling through my nose just to see how it works. It was great! I may not use the mask at all! By the way I did order the larger bag from sea-long and it does the job well. Thank you so much for the info on the parts. I appreciate it. |

Title: Re: Clustermasx Availability? Post by BMoneeTheMoneeMan on Feb 19th, 2008, 11:01pm One thing, though. Where do you find the little mouthpiece that comes with the clustermasx? I don't like the kind in RJ's pic, I like the one I can put in my mouth. Where do you find them? Thanks B$ |

Title: Re: Clustermasx Availability? Post by Mr. Happy on Feb 20th, 2008, 8:00am For some odd reason, the mouthpieces are hard to find on the net. Best bet is local drug stores that carry Asthma/O2 supplies. You're looking for a 22mm mouthpiece, and may need a hank of 22mm tubing. I scored a 12 pack on eBay (due in any day.) Yell if you don't have any luck locally. |
