Went to the diamond headache clinic (Chicago)yesterday for the first time, they admitted my husband to the hospital immediately, as his attacks were coming every 2 hours, they started treatment doing a histamine desensitizatin theapy, and now has been PF for 36 hours and counting. I know this is not a long period of time, but it is very promising. He will be in the hospital for up to 12 days with this treatment. Will update progress as we move forward

Dear Jace77:

I'm glad that the histamine desensitation treatment is working. I've been to the Diamond Headache Clinic (DHC) in years past, and been a patient of the elder Dr. Seymour Diamond.

I also went through that treatment at their affiliated hospital with many, many IV's, and the treatments did NOT work for me. It worked well for others who were there when I was, however.

Thanks for the link, though he is not doing DHE, he is doing 21 bags of histamine phosphate over the course of 11 days IV infused.
