Does anyone thing O2 increases the frequency of clusters? From past experience I was sure Imitrex did. Now I can only use O2 b/c of pregnancy and I seem to be having the same effect. Beginning of the cycle b/f I used any treatment I would get one/night. Now that I've started O2 it aborts the h/a pretty quick but I wake up less than 2 hours later with another one.

I agree that imitrex had an effect on my cycles, lengthening them. I haven't had that experience with oxygen. My problem with 02 is within 20 minutes of shutting off the 02 I get hi9t again. I tried staying on it longer, weaning it down slowly, didn't matter I'd get the return visit within half an hour.

Now I take an oral cafergot when I start the 02. 02 will knock it down, cafergot buys me about 12 hours pf time. I saw in your other posts you're pregnant, I don't know if cafergot is safe while you're pregnant. Other people have posted in the past they get similar results using only caffeine, either strong coffee or an energy drink. They power it down as they start the oxygen and get the same long term result as I get with cafergot. I intend to try that next cycle!

Sorry to hear you're still fighting the beast while pregnant, that just doesn't sem fair. :-/
