Title: Re: Stolen migraine device! Post by tommyD on Sep 24th, 2007, 6:57am It's ALI! In case you're new around here, Mitsubishi is actually Ali, a quack troll trying to sell nonsense. Please ignore all posts by Ali or what ever he is calling himself this week. Do not visit his website. do not give him a second thought. Someone stole his migraine device, which is a good thing, as otherwise he would be inflicting it on others. |

Title: Re: Stolen migraine device! Post by Beastfodder on Sep 24th, 2007, 5:44pm Thought this might help, it's a medical review from the web when you google the name, responding to some of the claim's he's making. Incidentally Syrian medical authorities cite skin necrosis and hair loss and some of the more likely outcomes of this process. Basically the blood vessels that give us pain are deep rooted in the head, this guy shuts down those on the outside which supply blood to the skin and hair as the 'magic cure'. But migraine expert Seymour Diamond, MD, says Sultaneh's surgery is probably no more effective than a host of other surgical approaches that have been tried over the years. He adds that the neurosurgeon has provided no follow-up on the patients who have had the surgery, so it is not clear how safe and effective it is. Diamond is director of the Diamond Headache Clinic in Chicago. "We have learned in recent years that migraines occur in the deep blood vessels that surround the brain and within the brain, not on the superficial scalp arteries that (Sultaneh) is talking about," Diamond says. "This dubious surgical approach just doesn't match what we know happens with these headaches." He says any benefit from the surgery, and from the neurosurgeon's pressure point self-treatment technique, can likely be chalked up to a placebo effect. "I have been around for a long time, and every so often a neurosurgeon will come along with a fantastic cure," he says. "But there is no surgical cure for migraines." Title: Re: Stolen migraine device! Post by Hikerguy on Sep 28th, 2007, 1:04pm DNA replication usually has only 1 origin of replication, whereas eukaryotes have multiple origins of replication). The replication bubble separates the DNA double strand, each strand acts as template for synthesis of a daughter strand by semiconservative replication, until the entire prokaryotic DNA is duplicated. After this replicational process, cell growth occurs. [smiley=headbanger.gif] |
