Title: Hospitalization (Updated) Post by UN solved on Sep 15th, 2007, 6:40am I'm back in the hospital again. I should have a room with my name on since I'm here so much. It's my home away from home. This time, DHE IV infusions & a single dose of Solu Medrol. I will NOT be doing Histamine again for awhile. I actually slept for 4 hours straight with not a single cluster attack, :) WOW ! That's amazing ! What a relief ! I'm going to try and sleep as much as possible while I can. And oh yea ... no high speed here. Back to ancient dial-up service ::) PF Wishes to all ;) UNsolved 8) <resting, relaxing, rejuvinating> |

Title: Re: Hospitalization Post by victoriawatson on Sep 16th, 2007, 11:56am So sorry you had to resort to the hospital again. I hope you know what an inspiration you are to everyone here. Your determination in fighting the beast is inspiring to me. My beast is kept at bay with massive quantities of Trex, which I hate taking but I love because it works for me. I remember the old days before Imitrex when they had to put me in the hospital all the time. God I hated that but it is SO much better than having NOTHING that will work. I hope and pray that the Doctors, PA's, and nurses will be creative and help you find SOMETHING that will work for you. Hang in there and just know, there WILL BE SOMETHING that will work for YOU! I hope you get some rest CH warrior! ;) |

Title: Re: Hospitalization (Updated) Post by Garys_Girl on Sep 17th, 2007, 4:26pm I'm so glad this worked for you! Congrats on the sleep. I keep reading of people's success with the DHE IV drip. Unfortunately it made hubby's situation much worse. His "sleep" came from the Dilaudid they had to give him. :( Enjoy the sleep while you can - and I sure hope it keeps working!!!!!!!!!!!!! Laurie |
