from what I've read, Yes. You should detox from all meds!

Hi Rick. First, should you decide to discontinue verapamil, please taper off slowly. Abruptly stopping can cause heart and/or blood pressure problems.

Detox from triptans, narcotics, and melatonin is very important. Some people have chosen to continue verapamil and still have had success with mushrooms. Others, still on it, have not had success. So really, it's up to you. Go carefully, though.

Thanks for input. Whats a good length of time for detox??...............Also FYI for me having had these things off and on for 28 years since I've been on verapamil (240 mg a day for last 2 years) for what ever reason I started eating an orange at night a hour before bed and had a lot of luck with frequency and severity during the night. Usually only one early in the evening K-2 or less.

Five days.
I had good luck while taking 240 mgs of verapamil. It took a few doses, but I ended a 5 year chronic cycle.

sorry I took so long to get back on this. the deal with the orange is I was eating an orange one night during a very bad cycle maybe 5 years ago and I noticed a reduction in number of HA per day and severity. I've been doing it every cycle since. With good results evry time. Also done 2 dose's of shrooms in past 10 days. 48 hours clear till last night and shadowed pretty good. another dose today. hope it works soon, I hate those things

(i did hear that freshly sqeezed oranges, have a effect on serratonin levels, not sure if its the vitanin c or not ?
