Title: About Mushrooms Post by jimp63 on Aug 21st, 2007, 8:50am When considering mushrooms as a treatment modality...must they be fresh or will dried fungus work just as well? This 7 month long cycle needs to cease for me...its been unbearable this time around. And people say things get better wth age! I'll anticipate any response coming my way. Thanks. |

Title: Re: About Mushrooms Post by vig on Aug 21st, 2007, 9:02pm potency diminishes with time & exposure to air. Fresh mushrooms are the most potent (IMHO) and dry to approximately 1/10th original weight. They retain good potency even after drying. Long term storage is in the freezer in air tight containers. ;) |
