Hey baby, I have had the DBS for cluster and chronic paroxyshemicrania and I have to say that the results are phenominal! It was striking how the pain just receded bak into my brain...
I have much to tell about the procedure that was done for me on Novemer 2, 2006 but I just spent 5 days in hospital to get it all staightened out. Long story. I can say that I was on massive doses of steroids and lamictal and kepprra were aded, but it is my opinion that it was the programming of the stimulator that actally did the real work and alleviated the pain.

I have 2 questions, Kris.
1. Besides the steroids, which are only meant to be used as a transitional treatment, while a prevent kicks in...were you ever on any of the more standard CH treatments?
2. Could you spell before the surgery?

Mein Gott!  Another person for whom DBS surgery worked?  She too must be a fake, yes?  Of course!  What, Dr. Goadsby recommended the surgery for someone?  What, he is moving to California?  And he did not consult with Le (masculine form) Limey first?  How shameful!  I thought that they were best friends?  What is die Welt (not the newspaper) coming to?  Let us all take an LSD trip and live in the pretend world.  Idioten.
