Title: try this for quick caffeine Post by swimchica623 on Jul 29th, 2007, 12:19pm Red Bull usually works pretty well for me, but I can't stand the taste. I'm pretty fond of those crystal light packets that you mix up with a bottle of water, so I just tried mixing a packet designed for 16oz of water with about 1oz and took it with a taurine capsule designed for immediate release. Not sure if the taurine acted quick enough though. But I got 120mg of caffiene into my system (Red Bull is 80) in 1 second! It was incredibly strong and not the tastiest, but it seemed to work within about a minute unless it was coincidence...I had been on o2 for about 15 minutes when I tried becaue that is when I start trying other things because maybe its one of those times o2 doesn't work. Just passing it along...would like to see what others think about it.... Lisa |

Title: Re: try this for quick caffeine Post by Wayne on Jul 30th, 2007, 4:03am Great idea, everything helps. Something else I tried which also seemed to work quite successfully was Bioplus, the effevescent one. It also contains bucket loads of cafiene and, taken with a Taurine capsule worked quite successfully. The thing I like about the RB is that its imminently portable and available immediately without having to mix anything, find a glass etc. Lenn,it doesnt matter whether you use the sugar free or normal type, they both contain the same caffiene and taurine and those are the important things. Sorry it didn't work for you though. |
