Utterly ineffective.

Methysergide maleate, on the other hand....

You have to have it made by a compounding pharmacy or buy it from Canada, but it's a wonder drug as far as I'm concerned.

I have to agree here........Methysergide saved my hind end. Can possibly have nasty side effects though...

Sorry E, neither one helped me. I tried them both. It was mentioned that I was going to try Sansert again but they said I couldn't mix with Imitrex and they were afraid I'd do some real damage. They decided against it.

My experience:
The first time I did Sansert, it was like an acid trip. Dialted pupils, burnt lips, and a non-stop grin !! After the first couple of pills, the effects went away ( but the clusters didn't ). In my book, it's equavilant to 1/3 of a hit of acid. ( So, don't plan on driving after your first pill )

This was my experience as well, except for one thing: the headaches DID go away. Within 24 hours. And they stayed away. At first I didn't know if it was going to be a fair trade - no headaches for tripping 24/7. But the side-effects subsided rather quickly, within 36 hours or so.

Miraculous in my book. I'm wondering if its effectiveness might be hampered by having other meds in your system at the time, those which block serotonin reuptake.

Like others I was also taking Sansert for about 3 cycles starting in the mid 90's. It knocked my hits down from about 3 per day to about 1 every 3/4 days. I also got the "acid light" side effects for the first day when I would start taking the pills (2mg 3x per day).
