Hi all,

Now here's me thinking I've managed to kill the cycle by starting my meds (verapamil) early... but no just managed to postpone the cycle til now :-X

Anyway, last night I googled 'cluster headache' and an add came up offering a CURE. Of course I believed it :P so went to the site (credit card in hand) to see what it was all about...

Anyway, I did send them a very polite email saying that I felt their advertising was misleading etc etc and this morning I received a reply.

I don't know what it will accomplish, but I sent the following to them:

Unless you can back this statement up with verifiable research, I strongly suggest you remove the cluster headache statement.

You won't be the first company to face charges of false advertising "cures" or "control" for Cluster Headaches.

You obviously have no idea what Cluster Headaches are, and their treatment.

I will let you know about my "standard" responce, once I get it.

Thanks Chuck and good luck ;) I look forward to seeing what kind of response you get.

The more emails they get from us the better as far as I'm concerned. I get quite annoyed when I see companies cashing in on our pain. I'm sure the add said 'Cure' but now it reads 'relief'. I could be wrong tho - hard to think in cycle!!.

Nevertheless I find it hard to believe that rubbing some snake oil on the temple is going to improve our pain!

Did I say they were bastards? ;)

I'm glad that this thing is discussed in here. I'm sure that there are plenty of desperateclusterheads who will see that "includes clusterheaches" and order the product and hope it's the solution they have been praying for.

I can't wait to see what they will respond to Chuck.

At least head-on only takes about 8.00 dollars from you. This stuff is more than twice that. >:(

I love the laundry list of conditions this stuff Heals on the left. Same bottle - different label heals all. Must be either the magic bottles or the magic lables.

May even sell from the back of a wagon for less?

According to the site, the ingredients are:

1.) Oleum menthae piperitae (which is pig latin for peppermint oil)

and

2.)paracetamol

Seems to me a person could dissolve a couple of Tylenols in a little vial of peppermint oil for a lot less than 25 bucks.

Not even any snakes in it.
