Title: cafergot, a lifesaver? Post by chrisw on May 1st, 2007, 9:47am Hi all, I started cafergot about 9 days ago, and I have been Pain free since then. I dont know if it is the cafergot, or the nine months of hell was going away on its own, but I wanted to spread the good news. this is my combo, verap 480mg day cafergot (one tab at bed) 9mg melatonin at bed I dont think I have ever been soo happy in a long time. I want to thank everyone who gave me some support during what is the darkest days of my life. I will try to do the same to others who are going through what I was going through. I am even thinking of throwing myself a party. Yahooooooooooooo. chrisw |

Title: Re: cafergot, a lifesaver? Post by Guiseppi on May 1st, 2007, 11:30am Nothing makes us all happier then success stories. I temper that with the warning to always be on guard! He has a sneaky way of coming back in the back door when you think the front is boarded up solid. That being said, so glad to hear you're getting a break. With a tip of my hat to you chronics, 9 months is an eternity to us episodics. Cafergot is my best friend too but I use it a little differently. Oxygen is my front line abort, I take a cafergot as soon as I start the 02. The 02 beats him down, the cafergot keeps him in hiding for up to 12 hours! Hope you have a record breaking remission, you've earned a break! Guiseppi |
