Title: O2 Question...life of tank? Post by swimchica623 on Mar 24th, 2007, 7:09am How long does an E tank usually last? Usually I'll have it at 15L for 10 minutes (5 sooometimes) and then 5 or 6 for another 10. According to the regulator its almost empty after (I think) 3 usages like this...does that sound right? I wasn't really paying close attention before but it seemed like the other tanks lasted longer than this...maybe one of the hits was just longer than I thought.... Thanks, Lisa |

Title: Re: O2 Question...life of tank? Post by swimchica623 on Mar 24th, 2007, 9:07am OK, thanks guys. The gage says its almost empty and according to Chuckie and the calculator that's about right... but I could have sworn the other tanks lasted longer than this...I guess its just cuz I wasn't getting hit as frequently so I was going more by days than number and thats why it seems too soon to change the tank.... Thanks! Lisa |

Title: Re: O2 Question...life of tank? Post by Superpain on Mar 25th, 2007, 8:17am Use the clustermasx with a large bag and make sure the bag never gets completely full, but always have enough in it. Therefore you are wasting 0% O2. NRB masks are good if your house has clusterheadahces I suppose... Cuz it gets all the O2. PS. See if you can turn the regulator down and hold your breath with each hit like I do. I get 10-15 ha's at 5-20 min's apiece out of an 80gal tank, which is the same as an "E" I believe. ;) And it doesn't hurt as much as the HA goes away... |
