Title: Stem cell research Post by LeeS on Feb 7th, 2007, 1:11pm I don't want to get into the political debate about future stem cell research (where's Flo? ;)), but given that there may not be much that we can do about an abnormal hypothalamus, or indeed (as I believe) a malfunctioning pineal gland, perhaps one day, bearing in mind recent developments in stem cell research (and possibly nanotechnology in neurosurgery), this may well change: http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v441/n7097/full/nature04960.html In the meantime, I believe that the 'entheogenic' treatment of CH, which may involve the same mechanism as current stem cell therapy (by stimulating the formation and preventing the death of neurons), is currently the best way forward for many CH sufferers.
