Title: These Dr's are trying my patience... Post by miker6565 on Jan 19th, 2007, 12:00am been tryin to get into the cleveland clinic ,,talked to them last friday,,the lady said she was exporting the info to the triage nurse and she'd call me mon or tues this week... So I called back today and got voicemail...and yet no response I'm gettin concearned have had 3 nose bleeds in the last 4 weeks since these things started,,i think its blood pressure related form the pain intensity,,left nostril,,(pain side)..... I've been to the er for these b4 only to be shot up with demerol..(alergic to opiods,,and imitrex makes my chest hurt so bad) The taurine seems to abort them quickly,,,,, Just curious if anyone else gets nose bleeds with a kip 7 or higher? peace always ,Mike |

Title: Re: These Dr's are trying my patience... Post by MJ on Jan 19th, 2007, 12:55am Never got a nose bleed here that I could relate to CH Mike. Could be something else causing it. I would quess you had more than 3 CH hits in 4 weeks. |

Title: Re: These Dr's are trying my patience... Post by Karla on Jan 19th, 2007, 5:41pm I thought demerol was an opiate [smiley=huh.gif] Sorry your not getting any response back from them. I would be on them like hot patatoes next week. Calling every hour until I got ahold of someone. I would think of all the drs in town they are stealing and snatching up that they would be offereing great service. |

Title: Re: These Dr's are trying my patience... Post by bowles96 on Jan 19th, 2007, 11:00pm Mike, May not believe this, years ago I use to get nose bleeds with the attacks. At the time was not seeing a Nuro but the family doc, and he couldn't explain it, but he did suggest that I donate blood, not sure why for this reasoning. But it did stop the nose bleeds, I still donate blood about every 2 or 3 months whenever the Red Cross sets up at my work. And no nose bleeds. P.B. |

Title: Re: These Dr's are trying my patience... Post by UN solved on Jan 20th, 2007, 8:46am I've never heard of nosebleeds being associated with CH. Like the others have said: I'd call them non-stop til you get in. Let em know how serious it is and tell em you need to be seen ASAP ! Goodluck UNsolved |
