Title: Re: Welder's o2 Oxygen Post by Ob1kanobee on Dec 26th, 2006, 1:27am posted by jonny on 9-27-02: You can't hook a non-rebreather mask to a welding 02 regulator, you have to have a medical reg converted to fit a welding 02 tank. That takes a 1/4" NPT (National Pipe Thread) stem and a 540s connector, no gas house will do this for you cause of liability. I FOUND THIS ON THE LINK ABOVE. HOW IS THIS GOING TO EFFECT ME AND MY WELDER'S SETUP? I don't understand what this means. Can anyone explain? |

Title: Re: Welder's o2 Oxygen Post by SchwarzenSchafe on Jun 6th, 2007, 2:14am I'm a welder. I've aborted 1-3 headaches every day for the last 7 weeks using my welding tank with my welding regulator and a non-rebreather (clustermasx). It works great. I don't know the flow rate and I don't care to. If I'm missing something let me know! |
