I can't bring myself to say that I'm one of the lucky ones... cause I am chronic and have been for over 6 years now... but I can say that I can stop the beast in his tracks at any time I need to. (Even if only temporarly).

Drugs and treatments that are effective at stopping the attacks for me are:

DHE infusions
Solu Medrol infusions or high doses of steroids in general
Histamine Desensitization Therapy

I just recently threw all of these at the beast again. I've been in the hospital for 12 days ... just got out yesterday. The attacks stopped immediately and have yet to restart.

Here's to hoping I get another LONG break !! ;;D [smiley=bow.gif]
