Title: Re: fighting the beast Post by Charlotte on Oct 14th, 2006, 10:37am Hang in there, buddy. I get that dizzy weak feeling when the meds are working and and the hit presents as dizzy instead of the bad pain. Hang in there. You can get through this. Cigarette goes in mouth, not in eye. Yes, quite a few people think medicating makes it worse or prolongs it. I have made that decision myself in the past, but at this time, in this round, I feel I need to medicate. It is a personal decision and you are the only one who can weigh all the elements. Hang in there. Charlotte |

Title: Re: fighting the beast Post by TxBasslady on Oct 16th, 2006, 1:51am The only thing I take for my CH is 02. It seems that the more meds I took, or tried..made my CH much worse. To medicate ..or not, is certainly a personal choice. Best of luck to you...let us know how you're getting along. Jean |

Title: Re: fighting the beast Post by roy21302 on Oct 18th, 2006, 12:37pm After fighting this for many years I would suggest you carry on fighting using a as few meds as possible, but if the O2 helps use it as much as you need it. Don't give up, you will beat this just as many other on here have and achievce some PF time take care of yourself and keep using the board it helps Cheers Roy |

Title: Re: fighting the beast Post by winshots on Oct 19th, 2006, 1:51pm If and when any medication works for you, go for it. Anything. I live in the Netherlands and as you know marihuana is quite easily available here, it definitily helps me to prevent a CH (as long as I smoke it early enough because it takes about 15 mins to kick in) but I do not like the feeling of being high, stoned. So sometimes I dance despite having the weed at hand. The knowledge that it will end within an hour or so gets me thru. I am totally Zen at times. I can stop the urge to move for a couple of minutes during an attack... sometimes. Believe in the fact that everyting has an ending, even CH's... The beast cannot be beaten, but it will never win. Hang in there, love ya. |
