First i want to apoligize for my spelling {brain is mush right now}. But anyway my neuro at the clinc for migraines and chronic headaches last year precribed me presidone a steroid and started me on o2{ the o2 worked the first three times but failed after that} and he wanted to numb the area in the back of my head were it gets hard by my neck with novacaine .dose anyone have any experince with these treatments? [smiley=huh.gif]

I was at the doctor's office when I experience a hit. He injected my head with Lidocaine (same family) it didn't do anything. Maybe you'll have better luck.

I tried the lidocaine nasal drops. Didn't help the ch. Are you using a non-rebreather mask? clustermasx? How about preventaives like verapamil? Usually pred is given as a taper until the preventaive-verap, lithium...kicks in.

I have some experince with these treatments.

GLOA is used primarily in the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia. A needle is introduced through the front of the neck and drugs are injected into the site.

It is a “barbaric” preventive. The anesthesiologist performig the GLOA therapy and the Stellatum blockade used Bupivakain / Buprenorphine

Keith,

Sorry to say the blockes didn't work for me, tried 4 times I know I am a little slow ;;D The Dr at Jeff kept telling me they would help.

Hope you find some PF time soon
