I'm currently on Topomax as a preventative and I'm worried about kidney stones. I've also read about depakote and the liver problems, kudzu and the triptan interactions,etc. (I use trex)

What are some other preventative alternatives?

Clusterbusters - RC seeds and psylocibin shrooms.

In a comparison of lasting side affects these appear safer and possibly more effective for some people than those mentioned above.

I used Topomax fro about 4 months, now releif from it, I am now on LYRICA, 6 months, headache free with no side effects other than a little tired.

I'm episodic and have been using lithium forever with almost no side effects. I never had to try topomax so i can't really compare it.
