Title: Rozerem 8mg tablets
Post by unsolved1 on Sep 1st, 2006, 11:39pm
Rozerem was just mentioned awhile back. I believe there's a CH study in Texas using this drug. It's a drug 'used to treat insomnia'. I've just began taking it. 1 tablet @ bedtime. No noticable effects yet. Anyone else trying it ?

My neurologist also prescribed it to me during my last cluster but not to treat the cluster itself but to help me sleep.

In the last few yrs, my clusters have changed to coming at night where they wake me up in my sleep so the oxygen has no effect as it only works as an abortive for me so the doc gave me xanax and rozerem, to see if either helps me with the anxiety of going to sleep.

The clinical trial hasn't started yet.  According to an earlier post, the trial will test it's efficacy vs melatonin or something like that.

I'm interested to see if this works for you.

That's all oxygen is intended to be  -  an abortive.  How were you using it otherwise?

Gator- I've only used it as an abortive, I was just explaining my situation,..giving my layout if you will.

Explaining that with O2 being an abortive, It was useless because the only reason I would wake up was because the monster was already here and rolling,...already at the point where it is the pain that was waking me up,...far too late for O2.

also, Just for the sake of sharing results ,...

I prefered the rozerem to the xanax because the xanax only added "extremely clumsy in the dark" to my list of traumas going on once I was awakened.  I don't get that with the rozerem and I also get the "high" feelings in and out during the next day from the xanax.

Great for the weekends,lol,...but I have to do a job 5 days a week!!!
