I looked for this already being addressed but didnt find it. Sorry if dbl info.

Imitrex is now available in 4ml dose kits as well as 6 ml vials. **jumping for joy** Makes 1/2 dosing WAY easier!

They are not 4 ml. and the vials aren't 6 ml either dear.

They are currently 6 mg in a 5 ml vial and will be 4 mg in a 5 ml vial.

It's like diet coke ;;D

It works for me :)

Currently, the local hospital here does not carry the 4mg doses, only the 6mg vials. The local Walgreens dosen't have them either. And the drug supplier to the neuro is still supplying the 6mg doses.

I think it's all a conspiracy !! ::)

Talk to the Walgreens. They can order both. That's where we get ours.

And FWIW, ml/mg, you knew what I meant. [smiley=laugh.gif]

6 or 4 mg Sumatriptan in 0.5 ml vial
