Title: Check out Anadin Extra Post by sandie99 on Aug 17th, 2006, 7:51am Back in London Anadin Extra helped me. Looking back, it's probably because of the caffeine it consists. Each tablet contains: Caffeine Pf Eur 45mg Aspirin BP 300mg Paracetamol Ph Eur 200mg Also contains: microcrustalline cellulose (E460) hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (E 464) I took 2 tablets at once, so I got 90mgs of caffeine. I didn't think much of it back then, though. http://www.mypharmacy.co.uk/medicines/medicines/a/anadin/anadin_extra_2.jpg The packet contais warning: DO NOT TAKE IF - breast-feeding - you have stomach ulcer - you are allergic to aspirin, other NSAID or other ingredients Back in 2004 packet with 16 tablets cost £1.78. I've heard that there are packets with 32 tabs as well... It's available everywhere (Supoerdrug, Safeway, Tesco, Boots...). Whether someone wants to try it, it's up to you. I think that most of us have a pretty clear picture of what might help us with ch and what not. If someone decides to try, let me know. It would fantastic to know that it helps someone else as well. I used it with low kip level hits and shadows and regular HAs. Best wishes & PF days, Sanna |
