For those of you out there like me that wretch at the taste of red bull i have a little tip for you . .

Sprite 3G.

I've tried the 3G and the Ironbru supercharged versions both of which contain the same amount of caffeine and taurine incidentally.. both make me shudder even more than red bull but someone has to like them don't they?! I'm just a fussy old bag ::)

I have noticed that Red Bull tastes like it's made with 50% backwash, but you do what you gotta do, right?

I'm going to get some of this Sprite stuff today and see if it's any better.

Chey, there must me something badly wrong with me, because I actually don't mind Red Bull's taste... ;;D

I must admit that I have tried pretty much all the brands with the same amount of caffeine & taurine.

Edited to add:
Sprite 3G is not available in Finland as far as I know. And neither is Mountain Dew's energy drink version someone has tried with succcess in here.

Visit Tesco's... get some 'Kick'. Tastes better than Red Bull... and much, much cheaper.

I add a few drops of lemon juice. Takes the sweetness off a bit.

Tab has an energy drink, tastes a little like the old dr pepper.

tab is a diet soda that was popular a few decades ago in the US

We're talking soda pop. Tab energy drink has taurine & is a cross between the herbal tea mixes and a soda, but it's low cal so some people wouldn't be interested because of the artifical sweetener.

I don't know how long it has been made, because I did not look until about a month ago.

Mountain Dew makes two energy drinks that contain all the stuff the other energy drinks have that we 'heads need, particularly taurine and caffeine.

They are called MDX, which is a little fizzier but isn't too bad, and Amp, which is less carbonated, and which I prefer a little more. They both work as well as Red Bull in aborting low-grade (Kip 3 or lower) headaches.

Amp also comes in "Tall Boy" cans (20 oz.), and I have found many convenience stores and filling stations selling two of these for $3.00.

I bought a "tall boy" sized drink called rockstar and it didnt taste to bad ,kinda like berry or cranberry flavor .
for me the worst is how most of the drinks taste like vitamins ....yucky .
