Title: Prodigal DaveW Returns...
Post by Dave_W on Jul 24th, 2006, 1:16pm
Hi Group,

I've been pain-free for a little over 18 months, but they're back.  Kinda mild this time (KIP 4 to 5), but very regular, 3 times a day.

I am already on Verapamil, 960 mg/day, and I have a stockpile of Imitrex nasal sprays plus a bottle of oxygen for work and one for home.

I'm thinking of giving the Kudzu a try, will let y'all know how it works for me.

Mostly I just wanted to say "hi, old friends" and thank everyone for keeping the good info flowing.

PFD's all,

Old Decrepit Dave

Sorry your back in cycle, glad your back on the board. I had to give up on the nasal imitrex cuz it made my barf and didn't stop the head ache. Got over my fear of needles and have become a fan of imitrex when the oxygen fails me. Hoping it's a short cycle for you!

Dave?  Is that you, Nashville, on the porch talking all Saturday night?

You sound armed and ready bud.   Welcome back!

Howdy Dave!
Sorry to hear about the cycle starting up again. Give the kudzu a shot, it might just be the ticket.

Thanks all!  And yes, Kevin, that was me on the porch in Nashville.  Good to hear from you.  Send me a note and fill me in on how you're doing sometime.

Early results on the Kudzu are promising.  No attach last night (after 2 doses), first time in several weeks.  Missed this morning's headache too.  Right now I have about a KIP 2 going on,  2 hours ahead of schedule but really mild...

Clusterheads ROCK!!!  I shouldn't have stayed away so long.

Hugs & PFD's to all,

Goober Dave
