Have anyone ever heard of a Herb called "Eye Bright" .

The following is from a email conversation that my Sister had with a guy that runs a health food store in Chicago, called "Joel Figl leaf (?)"

{I found that out years ago when one woman gave eye {bright to her son when she ran out of the Fig Leaf tea.

{I have no idea why it worked for her son, but it is worth a {try. Make the quart pack and drink some (1 tablespoon) {with water 4 times a day. Let me know what happens.

I suffered so badly with hits when I attending my Family Reunion in Ms.,  last month (even though I was Blessed to have o2 and medication with me), till I feel that my Sister is determine to find something that will help me.

I checked with a local health food store and they had not heard of it..

www.PapaNature.com has it.

It sounds like something that would be in a book called BACK TO EDEN.

It was popular in the 70's but I saw it at a book store last weekend.

It doesn't mention cluster headache, but it has a lot of information that isn't available elsewhere.

Not much research on eyebright - hard to say much about it's chemical constituents..  Traditionally, it has been used for the eyes, sinuses, mucous membranes and colds/coughs.  There are a few references to using it for 'frontal headaches' - not sure what they mean by that .... ??

I Google’d Eye Bright & found this, one interesting bit was the reference to
over-sensitivity to light that does effect some of us.

Eye Bright
Eye Bright is one of the primary herbs used for eye care. It has been depended upon for at least 2000 years in the treatment of various eye problems. It is especially useful for eyestrain, over-sensitivity to light, eye inflammations, weeping eyes and other eye ailments. In addition, Eye Bright can relieve other symptoms that often accompany runny, sore, itchy eyes due to colds or allergies.
Here’s the link to the site the info came from.

Thanks for your replies and all the usefull info..

I've been fighting with the devil all week-end, so I'm willing  to try just about anything. But thanks to the strong support I have received from many members of this sight

"I MIGHT GIVE OUT, BUT I WILL NOT GIVE UP - THE DEVIL WILL NOT WIN [smiley=bash.gif]!!"

I'm Praying that I will get to meet you guys at Convention next week..

Peace & Blessings
