Hi all,
My neuro put me on 200mg of Lyrica daily in conjunction with my topamax. It is helping, but the side effects are not worth it...dizziness, sleepiness, etc. The biggest being I am gaining about a lb. a day while eating less than normal.

Does anyone know if you lose the weight going off of this drug? I have read a lot of people gaining weight, but not of people losing after.

The dizziness and sleepiness may also be caused by the topamax, so they may be compounding the side effects of each other.

I haven't tried Lyrica, but long term usage of Topamax usually leads to dramatic weight loss.
