well whoever said it was a lil prick was telling fibs lol but hey the burning in my temples gone right down so its worth it ;;D

Here's something that may help. Pinch some fat around your stomach, about 4" away from your bellybutton. Inject into the spot you are pinching. Shouldn't hurt all that much. I find that spot is less painfull than in the leg. YMMV

I'll have to admit that with the stat pen I was a wuss myself, and would only take a pop on the worst of the worst hits.

Once I started to use the insulin syringes, it was soooo much easier...

I hate needles too and thought the stat pen was the worst thing on earth, then the snakes crawled up my back, through my neck and hit the headache. That was the wildest thing I'd ever experienced. Told my wife I thought I was having flashbacks from the 70's!!! As much as i hate the needle and the snakes up my back feeling they cause, I do love the relief more! Hope you're getting some peace.

I got Paul to come along to a little meet and greet yesterday at the Institute of Neurology so he could meet his first ever clusterheads.. now for a start, this kid is brave enough to come and meet me!

He has had CH for 13 years now and the most he has ever been given for it, IN SPITE OF SEEING A NEURO!!!.... is 80 mg of verapamil.

No abortives EVER until yesterday...

I don't care WHAT he says, this kid is no bloody wimp!

This is why we have to keep fighting and checking on new people and making sure they are okay.
It nearly killed me hearing what he has gone through.

Rest assured, his doctor will play the game or I'll be making another road trip! LOL

Paul, don't forget what you have to do about that appt, if you need any more of that drug info that we were spouting at you yesterday IM me and I'll write it all out for you.
I don't want you going through another day suffering the way you have understood?! ;)

HAHAHAHA For me in the midst of an attack that little jab is well worth it. Besides it hurts for less and not even as long as a CHA.
