has anyone tried the herb polygala and is it used as an abortive or preventive and did it help and did you have any side effects? any info would be appreciated, i was thinking of trying this, thanks

I haven't heard of it, Radha. The only herbs I know of that may help are kudzu and feverfew.

There are various subtypes of polygamas, decoctions of the plants are used as secretolytics in bronchitis and asthma. The plants also contain salicylic acid compounds that may function as mild analgesics.

I wrote about it some time ago, and just updated the entry - it seems to have effects similar to olanzapine.

I have tried it out of cycle, but haven't been in cycle since reading about it.
