Title: Prednisone question Post by BobG on Apr 30th, 2006, 2:12pm I’ve been put on Prednisone, not for clusters but another problem. An hour after I take the pills I get the shakes and feel nervous on the inside and then it’s gone in about 45 minutes. I’ve never taken Prednisone before, is that feeling normal? I feel like a Chihuahua on beanies. |

Title: Re: Prednisone question Post by chewy on Apr 30th, 2006, 6:30pm I get a little jittery but not like a Chihuahua on beanies. Dont worry about it on May 1st. All the Chihuahuas on beanies will be boycotting. What dosage are you taking? |

Title: Re: Prednisone question Post by Jasmyn on May 1st, 2006, 5:02am Yip, Bob, the shakes like and nervous feeling when put on Pred but it does fade after using it a while. This happens especially when I start on a high dosage. |

Title: Re: Prednisone question Post by TxBasslady on May 1st, 2006, 3:19pm Bob, You didn't mention what dosage you're taking. When I took the Pred for my CH, I was on a 12 day taper. I was fine till the last day of the taper....then it was like I was having an anxiety attack. Scared the hell outta me. I had never had that feeling before... Within 2 or 3 hours, everything was back to normal.....thanks to Jackie and Jonny... ;;D It sure was good to know that what I was feeling was normal. Good luck....hope things get better for you, sweetie. Jean |
