Title: Lecithin Post by jBryan on Jan 3rd, 2006, 8:56pm Hi I just found this site today. Its really good to know I'm not the only one. The reason I found you guys is because after 5 years of remission the CH is back. Back in 2000, after 6 years of being misdiagnosed and suffering through, I heard about a supplement called lecithin that may help. I started taking 1200 mg BID and no CH!!! That is until Christmas Eve. So now I am right back on schedule every other evening at 7:00. Has anyone else heard of lecithin for CH? Should I try something else before going back to the doctor? What Med should I start on? Any suggestions would be great. |

Title: Re: Lecithin Post by floridian on Jan 4th, 2006, 10:33am Lecithin is phosphatidyl choline. Choline levels in clusterheads are very low (about half of normal) and lithium dramatically elevates choline. Not sure choline helps, or if pure choline might be better. Worth trying if you think it helps; lecithin is cheap and relatively safe. http://www.med-owl.com/clusterheadaches/tiki-index.php?page=Choline |
