Title: oh boy...now i did it!
Post by grumpett on Mar 6th, 2004, 6:53pm
i just rearranged the living room and had to move my t.v.
Because of that I had to disconnect the vcr, dvd And cable box.
Now the problem....ha ha
I have every thing working but now use a different remote  and not all my cable channels are coming in   duh.
my husband is going to kill me when he gets home..
can anyone help me out?

He has no sense of humour lately and I know that if I am not here when he comes home he is going to land on the floor when he goes to sit down.
so..... anybody......

All I can think of to checkis mak sure your Cable it (IN) to your VCR and th VCR is (IN) to the TV. One of the connections might be ooe,]

Tiannia is probably right. Be sure the cable goes from the wall to the Signal IN on the VCR. Then be sure the other cable goes from the Signal OUT (or maybe To TV) to the TV.

Also, do you get TV channels 2-13 ok but not the higher numbered ones? If not you may have to reset the VCR to get the cable channels.

Does your VCR remote control have a TV/VCR select button? You may have to press that button to get the signal to pass through the VCR to the TV.

When all else fails, dig really deep in the back of the closet and find the Owner's Manual. Go to the My-Hubby-is-gonna-kill-me section.

While you're in that closet....................
clean it please. I've seen that mess and it is disgusting.

Men love to play with buttons,  pose this problem as an opportunity for him to show his remote prowess, then offer him your buttons to play with as a reward.

Or - reprogram the VCR.  (Menu - Setup - Channel - Antenna - Cable - Record - Auto - Enter)
