Title: Pick ups from the airport (CONVENTION) Post by Jayne on Feb 19th, 2004, 5:09pm I will be willing to offer lifts from the airport to the hotel. Obviously I can't do it for everyone, but I will do my best to pick up as many people as my little car will manage. So if you need help, please let me know and I will start to write down times that people are arriving and see what I can do if this makes sense. I can only do this on The Thursday and the Friday of that weekend. Jayne |

Persons picking up could call the particular airline to check if flight is ontime or will be late. Or, go to terminal which flight is arriving into and look up on the arrival screens. Things should go smoother and less frustrating with correct flt info and a little pre-planning. Those picking up are doing a wonderful favor, help make their avid contributions as easy as possible for them. I believe Nashville is a busy hub for Northwest flights and Southwest, all other airlines of course fly there too. Also, I just wanted to add: I am sure we have many experienced air travelers, but if there is a question about what to bring and not bring aboard, the Transporation Security Administration is at: www.tsa.gov Oxygen will be most likely not accepted since Valujet incident in FL. Check with airline also on their procedures and policies re that. Kevin M |
