Title: The Latest..... Post by Cerberus on Feb 18th, 2004, 6:18pm And as predicted..... If I WANT the job its mine just gotta call and give the thumbs up or down. Here's the beefy part, I DON"T WANT TO WORK IN RESTAURANTS ANYMORE! Tired of smelling like food, Tired of assinine people who have absolutley NO clue what they want or expect, Tired of FOOD in general (I can already do the hula hoop with a cheerio.) I'm never hungry and I get tired of serving the same slop arranged differently to the same tired ass people.......SO! I think I'm either going to re-train in another area OR seek assistance with schooling or apprenticeship for a "Skilled" trade ANYTHING but work in another restaurant.... (My Ideal job???........Work for the DNR!.....yeah, right.) But that is the plan so far....Now on to other topics......had a several hour talk with the shrinks office and have an appointment next wed. at 10:40 CST and my remeron refilled till at least then, but, have to have $160 bucks in hand to pay for the missed appointment last month + co-pay AND make sure they submit a "treatment request form" to make sure the insurance actually PAYS for it. (Damn insurance companies >:() Got a Neuro referral from the GP......apparently this one actually knows something about CH (we will be testing THAT theory thoroughly ;)) SHE is also a sleep specialist and gonna do some testing to see why I can't sleep even with all the meds I take and if it may be related to my CH. Appt. Monday 10 am (Got Film?) And there ya have it folks......looks like I'll be collecting unemployment for a while, all in the interest of a career change. CAN I STOP NOW? :) Ramon |

Post by Woobie on Feb 19th, 2004, 10:58am Thomas, Yes, I do have arms and legs n stuf to prctice on but I DON"T want that many tattoos.....Besides for the time being I have to keep a certain degree of skin untouched (too many people not wanting tattoos to show) and if I practice on my arms (AlthoughI would LOVE a sleeve on my right arm) I suppose I could do my legs to hide em. Tina is also not a REAL big fan of "too many" tattoos. I have heard about the orange thing......can't for the life of me remember where. And getting a pig to sit still would be ...well .....near impossible. STILL....Food for thought not quite abandoning it yet. Creating flash and aqiring flash not a big problem just time consuming. Calling today about programs to continue education, maybe a A.A. degree in art? or an entry level position at a design studio (graphic arts?) Got two ...yep count em TWO proposals for logo work. And there is an airbrush t-shirt shop in the local mall.....maybe I could get some work in portraiture sent to me through that one.....outside shot, but, worth looking into. Keep tossing up the ideas folks......at this point nothing is taken for granted, ALL artistic ventures are being considdered. Thanks for al the input... Oh, and anyone willing to help be build a website to display my art would be a blessing....I have an "on board"....web publishing tool but have no idea how to use it or what its limitations are ....anyone know anything about "cuteHTML"? peace.
