Title: Cemetery gates?
Post by jonny on Feb 12th, 2004, 4:39pm
LMMFAO....;;D

A snow plow killed 98 year old gates at a cemetery in northern Mass, they called the best to re-make them to spec ;;D

Believe it or not....the most simple part was making new brass look 98 years old...Gotta love chemicals....LOL ;;D

Each gate was 1000 pounds (Give or take a pound...LOL)

When the job gets to the point that im taking pictures I always realise that I do love what I do (Can you say the same?)

Another great job, Jonny!

Maybe you could pay that snow plow driver to enforce a few other gates.  Call it business development...

And you are right: Having a job you love is absolutely great!

Nice work jonny!

I can really appreciate it since i spent 5 yrs in NH doing residential and commercial restoration. Making something new look old can be a challenge and takes talent.

I had great mentors.

And yes, for 30+ yrs i have been fortunate to enjoy what i do for a living. Work isn't really work.

guess this menas we now adress you as Master jonny LMAO!!!!

Peace Bro

Cemetery Gates!!

Sounds like a great tatoo.  Eerie.

Where we let by gones be by gones.

Where underworld is six feet down.

Gettin' laid forever

The Silence of the Damned.

Cemetery gates with the wrought iron words, "NO EXIT"

Where the real part of memories, lie.

It's a shame somebody wrecked the gates. At least nobody took a fence........
