Title: Snake Oil on ACHEnet (migr related but a good read Post by chronic_chic on Feb 2nd, 2004, 7:26pm Hiya everyone, I frequently post on achenet's headache message board. The other evening, this complete dolt put up a very "snake oil" like message claiming he can cure migraines with a migraine prayer. Our small population of posters over there is having a hard time flaming this guy to the point where he will LEAVE US ALONE! I know this is migraine related, but a scam is a scam. Anyone trying to pull one over on someone in pain should be hung out to dry, in my opinion! If anyone is a member of achenet or would like to sign up and help me shut this guy up, it would be greatly appreciated! But if he is this good, what prevents him from praying for all of us, by our screen names, and curing us without our even knowing about it? Waitabit, he wants money... Now isn't that a truly Christian thing - have a cure that you get free from God (not that you at least work for, like a doctor) and charge people money for it??? |

I've reported the post to the achenet moderator, and I was told by another member that they had to do this once before, and the post was removed. Not that I'm for internet censorship, but when something is potentially harmful to others that I care about...I feel something should be done about it!
