Post by nancyc on Jan 29th, 2004, 9:43am Thanks, Deb and everyone....i just got home for alittle rest...I am coughing my head off now....and headed back to work tonite....We have no nurses rite now...alot of them lived so far out in the country they could not come in or they had no electicity....alot of them had no electricity until last nite and were staying in the cold or staying in motels with their entire families...It was definelty a disaster in the health field and we are still feeling the repercussions...unfortunately during this time, there are also, slack nurses that will just stay home knowing the Governor is going to give us a hazardous day off....My trip to the clustergathering is called off and I am truly bummed out but I am sick and exhausted and know there is no way I can travel rite now...Thanks for your support and your prayers...I pray all of you have a wonderful time and know I am thinking of you and wishing I was there with you instead of at work with my kleenexs..thank God for my Doctor that called me in some antibiotics knowing my situation!..I will miss the blenda! :)nancyc |
