Title: I know, this post is lame
Post by Nimbus on Jan 24th, 2004, 9:48pm
I know you're there but somehow I can't help it...  Some night like tonight, in front of my computer with shadows in the head, I feel very alone.
How can I feel like that when my lover is in the bed right next room?
I'm not complaining....  I've just felt the need to throw that on the internet.

alone is when there was no clusterheadaches.com
and you thought no one on the planet suffered from this but yourself, because no one knows this pain unless you have experienced it. But I have to tell you if you have a good supporter count your blessings. My wife Connie is mine and I saw a bunch of them in Davenport  Ia.

Hello Nimbus

Not lame at all. I think we all feel that way sometimes. The house is quiet everyone is sleeping and the feeling of emptiness kind of hangs around even sometime coming to the board gets me down only because i read about the meet and greets and there i am a dot on the map out in tin buck too :-/ but its always nice to know someone is always here for you. Hang in there tomorrow is another day  ;)

I know how you feel.  Haven't been to bed with the wife more than a dozen times in the last year.  The shadows and the HA's hit right about that time of night and I know I don't dare put my head down.  Hang in there though.  That is why we are here.  I'm up usually until 2 or later, so if you ever need to talk drop me an email for my number.

Jerry

Ah yes, clusters open you to the world on the dark side.  Frequently my posts are in the wee hours.  Here it is 7:00 am Sunday morning and I've been up for two hours.  Second time I've been up tonight.  Actually an improvement.  Dismotivation though, I notice, accompanies facing the darkness nightly.  A major cutdown on my daily routines.  I made the extra effort too visit my little nieces and nephews yesterday, which I used to do weekly, but only once since Christmas lately.  I loved doing it, but just haven't been as diligent about it lately.  Planned on seeing my sister and her kids too but didn't seem to manage that this weekend also.
Some preventatives are a drain on the sex drive.  Sometimes I'll suffer more and not take them so I can become more feeling again.  Been meaning to go to the show and dinner with someone for a few weeks now but, during the high frequency times, well, I've got a lot to make up for soon when this passes.
People in my life understand, but I wish to be with them instead rather than to have them missing from my life at these times.  Though I appreciate the understanding, life is better living with them than without.  I miss many of my friends.
At these times, getting to work and making an effort to keep the house clean and maintained is the extent of my motivation.
Keep up the spirits, maintain your humor until the beast is through with you for this period.
The part about slacking on the preventatives is not recommended, I can be a desparate individual at times though.  It can be a real test sometimes to the expression, love conquers all.
Best to you.
Kevin M
Things will come back around soon

You're not alone. Know that on any given night there are a whole slew of us up and dancing with our o2 tank, glad our partner is sleeping, but wishing it was them we were dancing with instead.
