Title: It's Back.
Post by eyecrusher on Jan 15th, 2004, 4:07am
I had a good week.No attacks. But now I'm working nights :( I swing shifts. When I've tried to sleep durring the day the bastard wakes me up at 11:00 am three days in a row. It's very brutal and full blown.I'm exhausted.Does any one else swing shifts? This is hard to keep control of when you can't keep a regular schedule.Any suggestions?

Your circadian rythms are all messed up, try a little melatonin before going to bed, see if that helps.

Yep, screwed up the rhythms!  Listen to Thomas and try the melatonin to get you on track.

that bites, eyecrusher....  glad you had some time pf, and sorry you're getting hit again....

I'm sure there are a few swing-shifters here who can give you some good advice.... and listen to thomas - melatonin is relatively cheap and does help many....

good luck,
Lizzie

:'(

Dammit this bastard beast!! >:(

I don’t have suggestions... but don’t be depressed, you must console yourself and think that your pain are the same of ours. It is a bad “consolation prize” but this is our life with the beast! :'(

So sorry for you.... Stay hard ops... Stay strong!

I'm here anytime you need.... love, Zaira

I was on four ten hour days, 8:00 pm 'til 6:30 am.  I had to switch back to a five eight hour shedule during the day.  Lost life's rhythm and I have read that can be hard for clusters.  There are ways to cope and glad you wrote.  I don't have a response that helps because it made me edgy with the daytime sleeping, mostly undersleeping.  I'd be interested in an input consensus on this too.  I wasn't able to "find a way" to maintain and got in trouble at work after nine months.  Days did not aleviate the pain, strength or length of "visits", but my coping is less stressful after that experience.  Nice to hear from you again Timmi and best to you.
