Thankfully it has been around 70 here. Nice surf too, although the water is cold. If you want warm I would suggest Miami. I spent New Years there and it was 80F, made California look down right cold. Talking about how tomorrow they expect it to be 8 below and with windchil 36 below tomorrow morning. And then they cut to the weather here and say "well plan on a low to come in and drop us to the mid 60's with a chance of rain Monday and Tuesday". I just could not live there, to fucking cold. Glaciers made it breathtaking - and it still is - and i still watch the clammers and lobster guys go out in the morning. Can't say goodbye to that. I like the idea of Florida. I like the swamps, the acadian sounds not found over my way....I like the haze and mystery. I like the silent communal, the heat filled with moisture -slows a sprint to a stroll. I like licking crawfish off my fingers - i like sparring with a laid back southern voice.........makes both our skin prick. Yep, I'm jealous of all that crawfish.
