The nation is at war. While opinion polls show a majority of citizens support the conflict, a closer look at results show many are uncomfortable with the way we got into it. Unlike conflicts undertaken in the last two decades, it apperas as though Gulf War 2 will be around for a while. Scenes played out on screens and radios will no dought sir strong emotions and polarize this country in many ways.
It is important to remember that no matter what stand we take regarding our government's actions, we all support our men and women in the military. We all want them to come home safely. We can agree to disagree, but when it comes to supporting our troops, we cannot falter. Even if you are against the war won't you still put a yellow ribbon on your door or in your yard.

Ali, Tristan and I have a ribbon on both cars, our mailbox and even on my little puny tree that is about 3 ft. tall and needs to be pulled up...also have a big one on our front door...LOL...smiles,nancyc ps good post elaine..love you sis!

There are lots of ways to support troops, checkout adoptaplatoon and operationpaperback on the web. I have worked with both of them for a couple of years and found them to be great organizations. Barbara
