Title: I must be luckiest person here Post by LadyWitch on Mar 22nd, 2003, 12:14am 6 weeks ago I woke up at 5something am with the right side of face hurting like an exposed nerve. Thought was sinus as could not brteath from right side. Slapped hot cloth on face and took Sin-u-tab. Same again next 2 5something am's. after a week with no pain it started again. same time same place same pain. Then thought maybe absess in tooth or gums as pain was getting worse and was severe in gums as well as behind my eye adn sinuses. Also thought I was crazy as was 5something am every time. again a couple days of that then week or so without. When the third round hit it was obvious that whatever the cause it was getting worse. Also discovered that it was not the Sinutab easing the pain when one am I took 2 and the pain started easing immediately. No simple pain reliever works that fast. Again, thought I was just going crazy. Then read WebMD description of CH and found EXACT description of what I was going through. Why am I lucky you say? Because from what I have read so far, many of you suffered alone for years before finding this site. I found you early. Hope someone will be in chat room tonight as I am terrified of going to bed. Have not slept last 2 nights. Hope this isnt to long to post. Thanks for being here. |

Title: Re: I must be luckiest person here Post by suzy617 on Mar 22nd, 2003, 8:29am Hi Ladywitch and welcome to the board. Yes you are lucky in the fact that you found out early what was wrong with you. Many of us took years and years before we knew what the hell was going on inside our heads. Do yourself a favor and read everything you can in here, make an appointment with your dr. or neuro and get some meds to help you. Alot of us find great relief with imitrex and 02. Good luck to you, suzy |
