Title: Re: Some digital art I made! Post by cerebus on Mar 16th, 2003, 10:10pm M double.... First....howdy, second....Keep up the good work. There has been some talk recently about a "clusterart" gallery with a perpetual display of arts and crafts done by people here on the site. There was also some talk about a past cluster art show at the smithsonian at one point. I personally can say by all means I would love to see more work by you. I delve in the arts a bit myself from time to time. I hate deadlines, though, so producing consistant works for me is not entirely viable. Several others post works from time to time, You might have seen or will in th future drawings from Zaira in Italy, it is always a treat to see her stuff. and Pimmony in the U.K. I believe, has posted magnificent lithographs of a cluster nature as well. So by all means Post away.....man I really gotta get a digital cam to shoot my paintings....too big for a scanner ya know. Any way nice work! Ramon |

I have a busy week coming up, but I defenitely plan on making some works that have to do with CH. They do bring some inspiration along with the pain ;) Later, -=Modestmelon=- |

Title: Re: Some digital art I made! Post by Opus on Mar 17th, 2003, 1:15am Modest, Great job ;D I have one comment, the copyright needs to have a ceation year, also If you haven't already you should watermark them. I have a link to a freeware program that does this. I haven't used it yet but I will try it if you are interested. Opus :P |

Title: Re: Some digital art I made! Post by modestmelon on Mar 17th, 2003, 3:02am :) Hey Opus, A watermark program would be great. Keep me posted if it works. And yeah.. I could use a little more info with the pictures.. live and learn I guess ;) Thanks! (p.s. Anyone happen to have a highquality picture of an icepick? Like a sharp metal one? could use one in a picture im working on. Has to do with the pain of CH.. and I figured an icepick would work. Failing that maybe a closeup of a needle.. a spike maybe? -and the pictures have to be pretty HQ, and sharp-) -=Modestmelon=- |

Title: Re: Some digital art I made! Post by Opus on Mar 17th, 2003, 9:49pm Modest, I tried the program and it works well. It doesn't have the invisable watermark, You have to make a stamp that will apply it inside the picture and will be hard to remove. I would make the stamp as a gif with an invisable background. I'm sure you can handle that. I know I have an Icepick somewhere. here is the site. http://www.picture-shark.com/download.htm The home page has instructions but it is pretty simple and super fast. Title: Re: Some digital art I made! Post by modestmelon on Mar 18th, 2003, 10:00am :) Thank-you much ZAIRA.. something about huge red letters that makes one feel appreciated. hehe And thank-you too cootie, glad you liked it! Opus ;) Great! I'll be sure to try it out, thanks for taking the time to check it out for me. Right now I have a few things in the works.. it shouldn't be too long now before I am finished. I'll keep everyone posted! Later, -=Modestmelon=- |
