Title: Re: I have a question Post by JDH on Mar 10th, 2003, 2:15pm The only thing I've ever seen during a CH is the palm of my left hand pressed against my left eye :o Can't imagine writing or doing much of anything else besides pacing, rocking, screaming, punching the doors, banging my head and saying fuck about 1,000 times while the beast is present. It definitely gets my undivided attention. Jim |

Title: Re: I have a question Post by harlem on Mar 10th, 2003, 2:57pm I could imagine writing during the period of time that I suffer from these headaches... however, actually writing during an attack would seem to be virtually impossible. Referring to the other person's desire to utter the word "fuck" repeatedly and the body gesticulations, I would agree with that and add the observation that for all intensive purposes this is the one pain that I have experienced that truly cuts me off from the world beyond the left side of my face. I would be rather contented to know that there were something good/creative/interesting to reap from these episodes of misery. Unfortunately I have yet to discover that. |

Title: Re: I have a question Post by Karla on Mar 10th, 2003, 3:04pm I had heard the author of Alice in Wonderland had migraines not clusters. I think that is more possible since migraines can have visual disturbances not ch. |

I haven't hallucinated, but all the people who have unfortunately witnessed me behaving in the manner described above....they may have wished they were hallucinating instead of actually seeing me behave in this way..... :-/ |

Title: Re: I have a question Post by cerebus on Mar 10th, 2003, 5:59pm The only "trip" I've ever had during a CH was a trip to the ER, doctor, floor. I heard that "Alice in Wonderland" was written under the influence of psychotropic drugs, i.e. mescaline, or an opiate of some kind. Ramon |

Title: Re: I have a question Post by eyes_afire on Mar 10th, 2003, 6:23pm Maybe the author was treating CH with psilocybin... and happened to think up a good story. ;D http://home.att.net/~witchfinder/confused_smiley.gif |

Title: Re: I have a question Post by Charlie on Mar 10th, 2003, 11:28pm Can't say hallucinations were a part of my CH. Lots of room for more input here though. Charlie |
