Title: OK, enough is enough, give me my winter back!!
Post by frozn on Mar 4th, 2003, 7:41am
I'd like to find whoever thought that it would be cute to send our winter south this year, and kick their skinny little ass.  It has been horrible, floods from the massive amounts of rain instead of snow, earthquakes, and 40 degree t-shirt weather in January.  No ice fishing on the lakes cause ya might fall through, no snowmachining through the mountains and Ice-feilds, and no weekends at the cabin in the mountains with the kids.

Well I guess we do have golfing up till December and in February,     SCREW THAT!!!!

I guess I should shut up now, alot of you are probably ready to throw snow and ice chunks at me, LOL.  I just been sitting here at 3:00 am rebounding from a CH, thinking about it all, and decided to vent.

Thanks for putting up with my shit!!

Hi Frozn,
We've had more winter than we usually get here in St Louis. Not that it would compare to what you're talking about but you can have some of what we've got if it would make you feel any better  :).
Bring on Spring!!!
Jim

I got jipped this winter too.  I love the cold air and snow and all things wintery.  Now it's light jacket weather with rain.

how's the CH doing?

Wishing you PFDAN

This morning its about -50oF and I had enough of it back in January December November.

Too cold for anything (at least for us),

brain_cramps........-50 dagrees....as in MINUS FIFTY dagrees...say what....I complain when it is below 30 and rather it not ever get below 65. You must pay a forutne in heating bills.....insurnence co frowns on woodburners....we don't get a good nuff draft down here in this valley with hills on 3 sides of us....chimmney gets glazed with creosote. We have what looks like a glacier back in the woods on the hills....we got way more snow then normal all winter long. Stay warm !!! Pam-Coots-that-only-likes-it-hot

Randy,

It's great to hear you're doing better.  If the winter comes back send a little my way.  If not send me some Sun this rain is getting on my nerves and i usually love the rain.

Cheers,
April
